Health Care, Obama, And Freedom

Are we truly heading toward The United States Government controlling 1/6th of the U.S. Economy?

Almost two weeks ago, when Obama addressed the joint session of congress I heard him say we would be required to have health insurance. I paused my tv, (Thank Goodness For DVR) and listened again. And yes, folks I had just heard the President of The United States say we would be required to have insurance. I was both shocked and mortified. I have health insurance. So you say what is the big deal? The big deal is I have health insurance because I want to have it. I do not under any circumstances want The United States Government telling me what I have to have. (For All Interested Parties I Believe The Goal Of The United States Should Be To Protect This Country & Keep The Roads Paved And The Buck Stops There)

You want to laugh at Sarah Palin for talking about death panels; laugh. She isn’t wrong; she is very right. They call it end of life counseling.
You think you want the government telling your doctor what kind of treatment you need; support it. (Although I Think The Computers They’re Going To Use To Do This With May One Day Just Take The Need Of Doctors Out All Together)
You want your tax dollars paying for abortions; support it.
If you’re a doctor do you want the government telling you how much money you can make, support it.
If you are a pharmacist, you want the government telling you how much money you can make, support it.
If you are a patient, and you want the government telling you when you can see your doctor; support it.

Canada has had government ran health care for years, and their citizens travel to The United States to receive health care. None of our citizen travel to Canada to get health care. My friends, that within itself speaks magnitudes.

And yes folks Obama can get on tv and tell you that abortions will not be paid for as part of this health care plan; fine, but he also said that AARP endorsed his plan, and they did not. He also said that if his economic stimulus plan would pass unemployment would not go past 8%, we are now at 9.7%. He said if we would bail out GM they would not file for bankruptcy. What happened? They filed for bankruptcy.

Not only is the president and his cronies in congress out of line, this my dear friends is highly unconstitutional.

If we allow this; where does it stop? Will the next thing be amending the constitution so Obama can stay in power for 4 terms or 8 terms or until a time of his choosing?

Think about it; if it doesn’t scare you; you should get an appointment with your doctor while you still can. I’m pretty for sure there is something wrong with you.
